Over the years, I have accumulated a huge book collection and I have read and reread these books so many times that it’s time I pass them on to somebody else! I’m kissing her and she’s kissing me, and there’s that sense of the two of us, separate. Not with Ella. With her it was a space we both fell into, falling and falling into each other, and the air she breathed out was the same air I breathed in. Luke (Dream Factory)

30 Day Book Challenge: Day 4
- Favourite book of your favourite series.

I suppose I could let bygones be bygones, forgive and forget, yadda yadda. But where’s the fun in that? These pretty little bitches got everything I ever wanted, and now I’m going to make sure they get exactly what they deserve”
I can’t pick my favourite Gossip Girl, mainly because so much happens in every book that it’s hard to remember and otherwise because I loved them all. My favourite Pretty Little Liars book was #6: Killer because the end had the biggest jaw-dropping shock twist ever and I practically died when I read it.

The 30 Day Book Challenge: Day 3
Your favourite series.

It’s a tie. Between Gossip Girl by Cecily von Ziegesar
and Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
“Spotted - Chuck Bass losing something nobody even knew he had. His heart.”

They’re both almost about the same things, and have both been made into television shows that I literally religiously watch. I started Gossip Girl late and read the entire series, plus the prequel, spinoff series etc etc. I am in love with Nate Archibald I think maybe yes quite possibly. Aaand Pretty Little Liars, I literally preordered every book and have read them all numerous times. Luv it.

The 30 Day Book Challenge: Day 2
A book you’ve read over three times.

The Life Murder of Bindy MacKenzie
“What does it mean?” Emily said, in a low, panicked voice: “What does it mean if a rainbow comes before rain?

I love this book, and this author. It’s written entirely in notes, letters, transcripts, whatever but it tells such a good story and every time I read it I fall in love with Bindy all over again. I honestly don’t know what makes this book so good but every time I’ve read it, I pick out something new and go “oh my god, that’s so clever!”

The 30 Day Book Challenge: Day 1
The best book you read last year.

The Glass Castle - Jeannette Walls
“We laughed about all the kids who believed in the Santa Clause myth and got nothing but a bunch of cheap plastic toys. ‘Years from now, when all the junk they got is broken and long forgotten,’ Dad said, ’ you’ll still have your stars.”

Though I’m not entirely sure if this was the best book I read in the whole year, I can’t remember every single one and this one really did resonate with me. It was an incredible story about making something out of nothing.
